How does the Muscle Integrity Myopathy Test work?
The test can be done with the help of hair roots (60-80 torn out hairs from tail or mane with roots) or EDTA blood (collection and shipping only possible by veterinarian).

Once the sample has been received and recorded in our laboratory, the laboratory process usually takes 10 to 15 working days (2 to 3 weeks). Should a repeat or additional examination become necessary, the notification of the results may be delayed.
Once the examination is complete, you will receive an email with the certificate of findings as a file attachment. Likewise, you will find the findings certificates in your online user account via the "Certificates" menu as well as in the respective animal file.
