Our diagnostic work is based on established scientific knowledge, which we expand through active research. To do so we cooperate with university research laboratories, breeders and breeding associations, and other institutions.

Ongoing projects

  1. Identification of disease-associated mutations and the development of genetic tests, including single-gene and polygenic/multifactorial variants

  2. Identification of phenotype-associated mutations, for example, white spotting variants in horses

  3. Research in genetic diversity in horse and dog breeds in partnership with breed clubs and organizations
